This year World Book Day is on Thursday 5th March 2020! Young bookworms are preparing to celebrate their childhood favourites including the works of Dr Seuss, Roald Dahl, L. Frank Baum and many more! World Book Day is about celebrating the importance of reading by bringing authors, illustrators, books and avid readers together.

While it can be hard to pick a favourite, we’ve selected a few authors and characters we know will be popular this year — and matched them with a perfect pair of girls sparkly shoes!

Wizard of Oz
